SUSITNA PLACE is located in a quiet, downtown Anchorage setting, on a bluff that overlooks Cook Inlet. This bed & breakfast offers unparalleled views and hospitality that allow its visitors to relax while still being steps away from the heart of downtown. Everything that Alaska’s largest city has to offer, with all of its shops, restaurants, museums, festivals, the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, and much more, are just a short, 5- to 15-minute walk from the B&B.
An outdoor deck and huge windows provide spectacular panoramic water and mountain views. Mount Susitna (known locally as Sleeping Lady), Denali, and the Alaska Range’s peaks and volcanoes can be seen on a clear day. Five rooms - a master suite, a junior suite and three standard bedrooms, all with private bath - accommodate most sleeping arrangements. A hearty homemade breakfast, with as much coffee as you need will get your day off to a great start. It is also a fun time to meet interesting and friendly people from all over the world and share travel stories.
